This big old red factory down on the lake where Zurich ends and Kilchberg begins has for decades been a breeding ground for local subcultures, from experimental dance to outcast electronic music and non-mainstream hip hop. They hold a few larger festivals over the year, but there is so much going on that you will always find a party when venturing there. And if the halls are all quiet, then just wander over to their canteen, the 'Ziegel oh Lac' and make some new and certainly very extraordinary friends.
