Major collections of works on paper from every age constitute the holdings of this Vevey museum, the second-largest in Vaud canton. Dedicated to the preservation and promotion of drawings and prints, its action extends to supporting contemporary artists who also work in the medium.
Musée Jensich houses the the Cabinet cantonal des estampes – the cantonal prints collection, as well as the Foundation Oskar Kokoschka, the Expressionist Austrian artist who lived his final years in the vicinity of the museum.
Under the impulse of director, Julie Enckell Julliard, the museum has refreshed its image and is emerging as an important venue of the regional art scene.
