The Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvedere is situated on the promenade in Davos, with lovely views from most rooms. The hotel combines a rich history with up-to-date luxury. Opened in 1875 as the Grand Hotel Davos, the establishment has undergone several renovations, most recently to the spa and wellness area, which is superb.
There are three restaurants on site to choose from - you can enjoy fine dining at Restaurant Belvédère, Swiss specialties at the cozy Romeo & Julia tavern or snacks and light meals at Bistro Voilà. There's also the Carigiet-Bar, named after local artist Alois Carigiet, whose work is featured on the ceiling.
It's a great, central location from which to enjoy all that Graubünden has to offer, although we'd suggest you avoid the busy WEC week each January unless you're a financial wheeler-dealer yourself.
