Bandaranaike International Airport

Sri Lanka’s growing image as a hub in an influential Asia is highlighted by the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), a representation of the country’s advancement. Located in the outskirts of Colombo, with a short travelling time of 20 minutes along the expressway, the BIA is one of the two main airports in Sri Lanka. The arrival and departure areas have many duty free shops selling electrical items, perfumes, chocolates and more.
