Russian Masterworks Concert

Organised by Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka, Russian Masterworks is conducted by Ksenia Zharko and Soloist Maxim Puryzhinskiy. The Russian Materworks concert also features The Nutcracker Suite—a hugely popular work of one of the best-loved composers of all time: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Featured at the Russian masterworks concert are two of Aram Khatchaturian’s best-known works—Adagio from the Ballet Spartacus, and Sabre Dance from Gayane, also a ballet.
