Lush green carpets of grass, towering trees and exotic flowers welcomes you at the Mirijjawila Botanical Gardens. Situated in the Hambantota District, the park stretches across 300 acres of land. The prime purpose of setting up this botanical garden was to conserve the thinning number of trees specific to dry lands and plants of medicinal importance.
