Somalatha Subasinghe Theatre Festival

Somalatha Subasinghe Play House Kotte presents its annual theatre festival for young audiences with three plays being staged. The festival begins with Walas Pawula (Goldilocks and the Three Bears) which was written by Somalatha Subasinghe and directed by Chandana Aluthge. It is followed by Ratmalee (Red Riding Hood) and Punch Apata Therei (We Know It Know). All three plays are semi-musical and based on international tales. The play aims to instil in children a sense of art and culture, love and humanity.
