Joint අරගලය (Aragalla)

This is a bilingual political satire based on Sri Lanka’s protest culture, which has gained momentum due to the advent of social media. Written and directed by Nishantha de Silva, Rajitha Hettiarachchi, and Ishtartha Wellaboda, the play zooms in on the personal struggles of ordinary citizens of society. The scenes are set in protest-prone Lipton Circus, Independence Square, Fort Railway Station and Kuliyapitiya.
