Janatha Drohiya is a Sinhala adaption of a Norwegian play (En Folkefiende – An Enemy of the People) written by Henrik Ibsen and directed by Nihal Suranji. It is the story of a doctor who is branded an enemy of the people because he has revealed the pollution of the baths in his town which are a tourist-puller.
