The Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket stadium

Located in Hambantota this fairly new stadium which was constructed in 2011, adds more glory to the southern town. The stadium is one of the biggest in the country presently, and has a seating capacity of 30,000. It has hosted several matches, including the matches of 2011 ODI World Cup and ICC World 20 in 2012, during which it was declared one of the home grounds.
