Chesa Swiss is set in a lovely old colonial bungalow on Duplication Road, central Colombo. It has a long history of serving up high class food - being Colombo's first fine dining restuarant outside of a five star hotel.
It's famed for its meat dishes, although it also caters for vegetarians. The very best of its meals include classic Swiss favourites like Raclette, Rösti and cheese fondue. It also serves some lovely precision cooked steaks and seafood. The ambiance is relaxed and convival, with an air-conditioned dining room and a large bar room. If you feel like dining al-fresco it also has a private courtyard garden.
