Located in bustling Kochchikade, St Anthony’s Church stands out with its Italianate neo-classical façade, twin bell towers, and a prominent statue of St. Anthony on the street. The church’s origins are traced to a chapel built in the 18th century at a site steeped in legend. Above the altar is a recessed statue of St. Anthony surrounded by traditional motifs and representations of the sun and moon designed in brass. To the right of the altar is the glass-enclosed, blue-lit Blessed Sacrament Chapel. To the left, on a side altar, resides the most important and oldest aspect of the church, the miraculous statue of St. Anthony, a small but glorious representation that is around 200-years-old.
