Randenigala

The Victoria Randenigala Rantembe sanctuary is nestled between the Knuckles range and the Central mountains of Kandy. This is an artificially created sanctuary, established to protect the three reservoirs Victoria, Randenigala and Rantembe. It is set in scenic country and has a population of elephants. The sanctuary however is known for its abundant birdlife.
