Done in hues of blue and gold, this tremendous kovil is dedicated to the deities Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. At the entrance, you would find the “Garuda–eagle” the vehicle of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu, known to be the peace-loving deity of the Hindu tradition, is the ‘Preserver’ or ‘Sustainer’ of life. He carries the following in his hands, a white conch shell, which represents the ‘om’ sound, a discus which relates the cycle of time and a lotus flower representing glory and a mace to punish the bad.
