Phuket

A wildly popular destination amongst Singaporean travellers pre-pandemic, Phuket still has an allure that's hard to resist. Away from the touristy traps, you can still find peace and quiet. Travelling with the whole family this December? Head to Blue Tree nestled in 56 acres of nature in the heart of Phuket's tourist area of Cherng Talay. Go down thrilling slides and rides, ziplines, cliff-jumping platforms, water sports, splash zones, sandy beaches and more.

Chiang Mai

Northern Thailand's cultural heart, Chiang Mai is known for its temples, bustling markets and bazaars, and phenomenal natural landscapes. Walk or bike for your visit to Lion Buddha at Wat Phra Singh, the Chiang Mai National Museum where you can immerse yourself in Thai arts and culture, and more.

Koh Yao Yai

The beautiful Phang Nga Bay is one of Thailand’s most iconic landscapes, often found splashed on postcards and tourism posters. You’ve probably heard of its more popular islands, Koh Phi Phi and Koh Samui, but in the middle of the bay lies Koh Yao Yai, an underrated spot slowly stepping out of the shadows of its neighbours. The sleepy island is the perfect place to experience village life, bask in the white-sand beaches, dive deep in the world-famous diving sites and more. Check out our full guide to Koh Yao Noi

Krabi

A more chilled out version of Phuket, Krabi has managed to retain a more laidback feel. One thing that stands out is its stunning landscape characterised by sheer limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests and more. Krabi make a great gateway for travel to surrounding island – Koh Lanta, Phi Phi Islands and more.

Bangkok

Last but not least, Thailand's capital is a shopping and food paradise that draws Singaporean travellers in. Don't miss the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, eccentric Khao San Road, open-air markets like Asiatique The Riverfront and Chatuchak Weekend Market.

Want to explore Bangkok in complete luxury? Check yourself into Capella Bangkok, a stunning retreat in the middle of the city. Overlooking panoramic views of the majestic Chao Phraya River, Capella Bangkok boasts 101 beautiful suites and villas – with its philosophy extending across all elements, from contemporary dining to the renowned Auriga spa.
