This sustainable lifestyle market that emerged on the scene in January 2022 advocates for zero waste, zero plastic, and zero meat living. It invites visitors to exchange their no longer favoured fashion items with one another while mingling with the vendors showcasing their array of eco-friendly, upcycled, or handcrafted products.
Zero Market is hosted inside the Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre, part of the Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu-Chi Foundation that was founded in Taiwan. The venue is also home to a cosy café and restaurant that overlook the picturesque Yishun Pond Park. Every curious soul is welcome to participate in the centre's regular themed workshops and activities. Written by Hazel Tang
