Time Out says

Volkswagen is embracing the move towards greener commutes with its inaugural fleet of electric vehicles, and to celebrate this launch, they’ll be throwing a big Volkswagen Electric City bash this May. Not just one for the motorheads, this free-entry weekend pop-up will also serve as a delightful outing activity for the whole family – furkids included.

This is your chance to be one of the first in Southeast Asia to get up close to Volkwagen’s all-electric cars: the Volkswagen ID.3, ID.7, and ID.Buzz. While there, get in on other thrills like a racing simulator, foosball, and air hockey. For something less intense, browse through the plant nursery, or make paper flowers at the Mother’s Day craft workshops on May 12.

Unwind to live music by local artistes Dominic Chin and Shazza, as you tuck into a wide range of food options  from acai bowls to German nosh and Sourbombe bakery’s bombolonis. Pets can also enjoy a tasty treat at the pet-friendly zone, with vendors for pet supplies and accessories.

Volkswagen Electric City will be happening at Volkswagen Centre Singapore on May 11, from 10am to 9pm, and on May 12, from 10am to 8pm. Find out more here.
