Vegetarian Food Fair & Charity Booth

As part of its sprawling Vesak Festival, Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery is running a Vegetarian Food Fair & Charity Booth on May 21 and 22. Dig into an array of vegetarian delights, from “chicken” rice and summer rolls, to potato rosti and cheese nachos. Once you’re all fueled up, check out all the other activities happening throughout the monastery. There’s the Family & Activities Corner with sutra writing, yoga sessions, and calligraphy; the bathing of Prince Siddhartha to cleanse the mind and body; the “three steps, one bow” ceremony; and much more.
