Keep your wallets and whip out your phones instead as ‘payment’ is in the form of ‘social currency’. Either follow Mandarin Gallery on Instagram or present a receipt of your purchase from the mall, and, viola, you get to redeem a just-churned salted egg yolk ice cream on Friday and Saturday, and hay and honey on Sunday.
To further sweeten the deal, you get to select a variety of toppings from rainbow-coloured meringues, edible flowers, caramel popcorn, honeycomb and a charcoal white chocolate sauce with a sprinkle of gold dust.
