Time Out says

An out-of-this-world experience – literally – awaits you at Science Centre Singapore’s coolest new virtual reality (VR) experience, Space Explorers: The Infinite. Whether you geek out over anything space-related, or you love one-of-a-kind experiences, we guarantee this is one thrill you don’t want to miss. From now until March 2025, enjoy the world’s largest and most immersive space exploration experience at its first Southeast Asian debut.

Inspired by real NASA missions, the award-winning showcase will transport you to the International Space Station 400km above Earth in a visually stunning and incredibly immersive multi-sensory adventure you won’t find anywhere else – at least not on Earth. The best part is that the showcase features 250 hours of footage filmed on the ISS – plus an additional 16 hours of astronaut testimonials – so no matter how many times you experience it, you'll always discover something new at the exhibition. You’ll begin your hour-long space journey by strapping on a pair of Meta Quest 2 VR headsets. Then, you’ll have to follow the light trail to the 3D life-sized ISS replica floating in space. During your experience, you’ll interact with floating ‘bubbles’ that playback highly immersive, 360-degree content filmed onboard the ISS. Get up close to real astronauts on their daily tasks and missions while you listen to their insight into life in space, their daily challenges, and the experiences that make it worth it. Not only will it be a visual delight, but the awe-inspiring score by award-winning composer Fréderick Bégin playing through the attached headphones further enriches the experience. When you’re ready, just step through the walls of the Station, and you’ll find yourself enveloped by the vastness of space. You’re in for a breathtaking visual adventure with every ‘bubble’ you interact with here. Watch as Earth, an incredibly detailed, giant blue orb spins below you while you float through the cosmos – get ready to be floored by breathtaking views of home you’ll never find anywhere else. Before you leave, strap in for a final treat: witness NASA's historic launch of Artemis I, the first major spaceflight of its lunar exploration programme. We guarantee you’ll go home feeling nothing short of inspired. Get your tickets for this one-of-a-kind experience here.
