Snow City gets a revamp with three-storey Glacier Luge slide, real ice sculptures and more

Snow City’s iconic snow hill slide holds its place, but right next to that is a brand new 120-metre-long Glacier Luge – a three-storey mammoth of an ice slide that glows bright with coloured lights. It's a thrilling experience for both the young and young-at-heart, and if you visit during the festive season, there'll be twinkling decorations further lighting up the way.

You might think that the vibrant structures in this 30-metre-long gallery are simply plastic fixtures, but they’re actually made out of giant rainbow-hued ice blocks – which just makes them all the more impressive. Whizz down a slide made to look like a train, try your hand at ice golf, feel like royalty on an ice throne, and grab a drink at the ice bar, among many other interactive experiences.

Amping up the magic of it all is a crystalline ice fairy garden with intricate, ethereal-looking sculptures. Channel your inner Elsa as you say hello to mythical beings like a winged deer.

Powdery snow lines the grounds of this zone that’s inspired by the breathtaking Alps of Europe. Here, you’ll find an mini illuminated ice maze, a majestic ice castle, and snowfall sessions that are sure to be met with awe by the little ones. Feel free to build a snowman, or even lie down to create snow angels in the blanket of white!

Those who love a bit of action will be glad to know that Snow City’s bumper car arena on ice – the only one of its kind in Singapore – remains as one of its highlights. This is a great way to get a little heat going after exploring the rest of the winterscape in sub-zero temperatures.
