Time Out says

Whether you're a novice skateboarder or a consummate pro, Singapore's largest skatepark will have something for you. SkatePark @ Lakeside Garden is the newest addition to Jurong Lake Gardens, Singapore's first national park in the west. Here, you can practice, ride, and show off your tricks at five skate pods – each designed for different riding styles and skill levels.

Start off easy at the Learn to Skate Pod, with gentler slopes for beginners. Master the Mini Bowl Pod before moving on to the Big Bowl Pod with its daunting drops. There's also the Skate Drain Pod and the Plaza Pod, the latter of which is sheltered based on feedback from skaters in the community.

If you're a different kind of athlete, you can find some fun at the parkour area and bouldering wall. Jump over low walls and slide across railings at the 334 square meter parkour park, or scale the three-metre-high bouldering wall. In the future, you can even expect parkour- and skateboarding-related competitions and workshops.

Adventure sports company The Ride Side has been retailing skateboarding and snowboarding equipment at Kallang Wave Mall. Soon, they'll be bringing themselves to Lakeside Garden too, in the form of the Ride Side Café. Fuel up with drinks and snacks while shopping for skateboard, longboard, surfskate, and snowboard parts and completes.
