Time Out says

Sound maven Bani Haykal has something really interesting up his clever sleeves. Get this – the artist is set to encrypt plaintext into ciphertext and sound on stage at STPI Creative Workshop and Gallery. Titled sifrmu, the live performance plays on the Arabic word 'sifr' which translates to zero and the Malay word/suffix 'mu' which translates to you or yours. Together, it reads 'your cipher' which, beyond its literal meaning, also references coded messages and secrets. Count on Bani Haykal to reflect on the kinds of intimacies users and machines are part of, whether in the past, present or future.
