Missed out on the kawaii Sanrio Mid-Autumn Festival display from a couple months back? Despair not, as there’s a new festive event featuring Hello Kitty and Friends, this time in air-conditioned comfort. Open from now till January 1 2024, Sanrio Christmas Wanderland is a free-entry pop-up at Marina Square with massive character-themed installations, clad in sweet shades of pink and blue to bring in that yuletide cheer.
Standing in the middle is a six-metre Christmas tree, adorned with shiny baubles and motifs of Hello Kitty’s iconic bow. Flanking it is a life-sized Hello Kitty statue with a pile of pretty pink gifts, and the Cinnamoroll Magical Rink where magical snow showers happen at scheduled timings.
Spot other Sanrio friends like the cheeky Kuromi, and Pompompuin who’s made his own snowman lookalike. Kids will love diving into the Little Twin Stars ball pit and colouring their own Christmas greeting cards at the art stations.
