Time Out says

The circuit breaker may have unleashed the inner gamer in you, exposing you to a variety of video games. But if you've got a need for speed beyond Mario Kart, strap on your helmet for an electric go-kart competition IRL.

Held at The Karting Arena from November 1 to December 26, Masters of Speed Go Kart Time Attack invites speed demons of all levels and ages to rev their engines and clock their best timings for a chance to walk away with attractive prizes and bragging rights. The family-friendly competition also allows kids as young as nine, as well as family teams consisting of one adult and one child to take part. All participants have to be at least 140-centimetres tall.

There are a total of four window periods (aka qualifying rounds), but you can choose to compete within a two-week time frame for each window period. The top three go-karters with the fastest time clocked will then qualify for the next window. Winners for each window will receive cash vouchers and sponsors' products.

Got what it takes? Secure your tickets online where adult tickets priced at $35, and kid tickets at $30. You'll have to select a slot that works for you as no more than 10 participants are allowed indoor or outdoor at any time, and only eight drivers are allowed per slot. Safety measures such as SafeEntry check-in, temperature screening, safe distancing, and wearing a mask at all times except when go-karting will also be applied.
