Every year, Little India shines a little brighter for Deepavali. After all, it is the Festival of Lights, a celebration that symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. This year, Deepavali falls on November 12. Still, the festivities have started early as the vibrant cultural enclave illuminates in a dazzling array of peacocks, lotus flowers, and oil lamps come nightfall. Head to Serangoon Road and Race Course Road between 7pm and midnight daily to bask in the vivid colours and soak in the Deepavali festivities.
