Time Out says

The scenic Jurong Lake Gardens now looks even more beautiful than before, thanks to the mega-sized lantern displays that have been put up as part of Lights by the Lake, a free-entry Mid-Autumn Festival event. Painstakingly handcrafted by artists from China, the larger-than-life installations celebrate Singapore’s evolution through the years, while also giving us a "tour" around the globe with different themed zones – from an African Savannah to an Ice World and Underwater World.

If walking through the vast park grounds works up an appetite, fuel up at the hawker-style Food Street located near the Wave Plaza, where a handful of tempting food and drink stalls will be open from 7pm till 11pm. While there, check out the live music stage for Music under the Moonlight, and be serenaded by performances by local acts including Ding Yi Music Company, Jason Yu, and The Mad Trio.

The light-up and Food Street will be running until October 1, while the music performances will be happening on Friday and Saturday evenings until September 30. Find out more here.
