Jiu Asia 2024

Time Out says

We’ve seen a fair share of sake fairs, wine conventions, and beer festivals in Singapore, but an all-Asian alcohol event is hard to come by. If you love your baijiu, sake, and soju, head down for Jiu Asia 2024 from September 6 to 8. Now in its second-year run, the Asian alcohol convention will be held at Resorts World Sentosa’s Equarius Hotel this year. The three-day revelry focuses on celebrating the rich tradition, history and craftsmanship behind every bottle of Asian spirit.

Over 100 alcohol brands will be showcased at the expo, and while Asian-origin spirits are at the forefront, selected international brands will also be featured in the curation. A wide range of spirits will be available, including new variants, vintages, and hidden gems in the alcohol world — think rare bottles of 50 and 80-year-old Moutai, and a Diaoyutai State Guesthouse 50th Anniversary bottle. Other Chinese liquor products at the fair include the Moutai Bulao, Moutai Bulao coffee and ice cream, JiuguiJiu, persimmon wine, and porcelain gin.

Beyond Chinese spirits, attendees can also discover unique hot sake varieties and a rare Irish Poitin – the precursor to Irish whiskeys. On top of that, serious aficionados can consider attending masterclasses by industry experts like Rickesh Kishnani from Rare Whisky Holdings, and Keith Chong – a renowned local whisky collector.

A standard one-day pass for the event goes at $60 per person and includes exclusive Jiu Asia tasting glassware, access to masterclass, booth tastings, and food sampling. Find out more here.
