Time Out says

Wonder what it looks like in the Istana? The charming neo-Palladian style building along Orchard Road opens its doors on January 26 for all to check out the President’s sweet digs. Led by PSM volunteer guides, this annual open house offers guests a rare peek into the offices of the President and Prime Minister, as well as selected function rooms and collections of State Gifts, all housed inside one of Singapore's oldest heritage sites.

Look forward to a myriad of festive performances by local performance groups and school bands. Stop and smell the roses with the Nature Guided Walk conducted by NParks where visitors can admire the Istana's flora, fauna and biodiversity. Learn about the country's rich history and heritage at the Istana Heritage Gallery at Istana Park. Do good, feel good when you snap up memorabilia designed by the beneficiaries of various social service agencies where proceed will be donated to the charities supported by the President's Challenge.

The Istana Open House will return on Labour Day (May 1), Hari Raya Puasa (May 24), National Day (July 26), and Deepavali (November 14).
