The Marina Bay precinct is looking a touch brighter than usual this week as it illuminates for the annual sustainable light art festival. Spanning four weeks, this year's edition also stretches out to two new locations: South Beach and Millenia Walk. With the theme A New Wave and the chosen blue hue, the festival is decked with various environmentally friendly installations that tickle the senses and prompt visitors to reflect on environmental issues like climate change and rising sea levels. Highlights include Glacier Dreams, a large-scale projection on the façade of ArtScience Museum, Trumpet Flowers, an interactive display of colossal blooms at Clifford Square, and Bleached, an immersive installation of an illuminated ocean floor. Now, get those cameras out for some stunning nightscape photos.
