If you’ve yet to be offered a coveted Hermes Kelly or Birkin by your store assistant or you’re finding it difficult to keep up with Chanel’s repeated price increases over the past few years, it might be a good idea to go the vintage route. At the new Guerilla pop-up at the MINT Museum, presented in collaboration with My Grandfather's Things, a selection of 60 rare vintage Hermes and Chanel bags from the 1980s to the 2000s will be showcased. The bags start from $2,500, which is reasonable considering that these bags usually retail in stores for upwards of $10,000. In addition to being able to cop designer bags for less, you might also stumble on colourways, sizes, materials, and bag designs that have been discontinued or are more difficult to find today, such as box-leather Kellys and the Chanel Diana.
