Time Out says

"Ah ah ah, I love you very much, Doraemon!" goes the theme song of beloved Japanese anime Doraemon. If you can sing along to every word – then rejoice – because The Doraemon Exhibition is coming to Singapore in a first ever showcase outside of Japan.

Presented by LEYOUKI, with support from the National Museum of Singapore, the exhibition will be a nostalgic, thought-provoking, and – we're sure – adorable look back at the animation. See Doraemon reinterpreted through the eyes of 28 leading Japaanese contemporary artists and arts groups. Their works were created in response to the theme "Create Your Own Original Doraemon", bringing back memories and presenting multiple perspectives on the iconic Japanese character in paintings, sculptures, graphics, photography, and other mediums.

This is also your chance to view original drawings by the legendary manga artist, Fujiko F Fujio. Part of the manga writing duo responsible for the creation of Doraemon, the late artist's original drawings and sketches will displayed publicly for the first time at MANGA DORAEMON Original Drawings Exhibition.

You can also take home a piece of Doraemon with you. To mark the first global offshoot of The Doraemon Exhibition, there will be an exclusive line-up of cute and creative merchandise. Look forward to a line-up by the Fujiko F Fujio Museum, as well as uniquely Singaporean versions of original Doraemon collectibles.

Tickets to The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 are priced at $30 and are now on sale at doraemon-exhibit.sg.tickets. The showcase will be open to the public from November 5, 2022 to February 3, 2023 from 10am to 7pm daily. Watch this space for more updates about what's in store at The Doraemon Exhibition.
