Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival 2024

There’s no better way to celebrate this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival than in the heart of Chinatown. This year’s theme, ‘Celebrating Mid-Autumn Across Generations,’ honours familial bonds and festive traditions. Be dazzled by an eight-metre-high lantern depicting three generations of a family gathering under the moonlight, with displays extending from New Bridge Road to Upper Cross Street.

Apart from enjoying the light-ups, take part in family-friendly activities like the popular ‘Chinatown Lantern Walk’, and an all-new ‘Lantern Riddles’ event. Participants will also receive a cellophane lantern and a goodie bag filled with delicious traditional Mid-Autumn treats. Don’t forget to head to the Festival Fair in front of People’s Park Complex. There will be plenty of activities, free weekend stage shows across three dates, and a lantern painting competition.
