BTS Army, assemble. In celebration of its 7th studio album Map of the Soul, the global phenomenon that is BTS is setting up shop at Plaza Singapura from November 14 to February 14. And it's not just any pop-up store either – Singapore is one out of three lucky cities in Asia to host the 'dynamite' physical showcase, alongside Tokyo and Seoul.
A BTS wonderland, the blue-tinted pop-up store invites fans and stans to browse around 300 exclusive merchandise including wardrobe essentials and home accessories. Some of these wares are not even sold anywhere else – that's how exclusive it is. Expect a main showroom full of merch, and Instagram-worthy spaces that mirror the concept and music video sets from the Map of the Soul record.
To ensure the safety of everyone, the pop-up store is running at limited capacity. You'll have to reserve a slot online to enter beforehand. Each slot allows you to explore the space and snap up your goodies within a maximum of an hour. Pre-registration schedules are available every Friday for each weekly session, with the first one available on November 6. Safety measures including safe-distancing and mask-wearing rules also apply.
If you can't secure a slot to the physical pop-up store, you can still bag 'em exclusive merch via its virtual counterpart where fans from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan are able to access on-the-go.
Known for breaking records, playing sold-out arenas, taking over cinemas with feature films worldwide, and now opening exclusive pop-up stores around the globe, BTS is the definition of world domination. And if you're a fan, this is a pop-up you won't want to miss. More information about the pop-up store will be announced, so watch this space.
