September in Singapore means one thing: the season of speed is here. This year, the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix is set to whizz through the Marina Bay Street Circuit from September 20 to 22. But before the engines fire up, experience excitement at every turn with the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) from September 13 to 22 – that’s 10 days of non-stop race-themed festivities that will keep the adrenaline pumping.
A key highlight of GPSS is the Street Style Speedway, a high-octane celebration of racing and street culture that's set to ignite CQ @ Clarke Quay (CQ). This cool collaboration between CQ and Culture Cartel, promises 10 days of live art, dazzling light displays, exclusive streetwear merchandise from Limited Edt, and a pop-up bar by Zouk.
Whether you're a hardcore Formula 1 fan, a streetwear trendsetter, or simply searching for an exciting night out by the riverside, these five must-see highlights will ignite your senses.
Cars being turned into artworks
Say goodbye to plain, monochromatic cars – CArt Showcase is redefining what it means to ride in style. By day, Alvin Phunk – celebrated for his bold and vibrant designs – will transform Mercedes Benz rides with stunning car wraps. And when night falls, Race Krehel (aka SuperCyberTown) – known for futuristic aesthetics that push the boundaries of creativity – will take things up a notch by illuminating the cars with projection mappings, lighting up the scene in a brilliant fusion of art and technology.
At Fountain Square, from noon daily. 7.30pm till 11pm for car projection mappings.
An F1-inspired streetwear pop-up store

And here’s the kicker: spend at least $150 at any CQ outlet (excluding supermarket) and unlock a 10 percent discount at this limited-time pop-up.

But that’s not all – stick around and witness the bridge come alive with its LED lights moving to the groove of specially curated beats by the artist behind the magic, Flex, at 8.30pm and 9.30pm. The electrifying setting isn’t just a thrill to experience, it's also the perfect backdrop for snapping unforgettable moments.

A drone show for one night only
Besides the light show on Read Bridge, the night sky will also be illuminated with a dazzling drone display for one night only on September 18. Accompanied by upbeat music, these synchronised drones will create stunning patterns and formations over CQ and the Singapore River in celebration of the GPSS, lighting up the sky in a high-tech dance that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of innovation and speed.
At Read Bridge, 10.30pm on September 18. Time of show is subject to changes, the latest updates can be found on CQ’s website and socials.
