Artbox has been a major highlight on Singapore’s events calendar since 2017. But it’s more than just one giant photo op – it’s a vibrant celebration of art in all its forms, even food. This year's edition promises to be the biggest yet with close to 300 F&B stalls and retail booths sprawling across Singapore Expo Hall 4, from January 17 to 19 and 24 to 26.

Set to the theme of 'Artbox Everyday', the festival is reimagining the essence of neighborhood life. True to its playful spirit, the massive air-conditioned space will be decked with shipping containers stacked like high-rise flats, complete with a convenience store and communal void deck where you can sing karaoke, play chess, and soak up the creative energy.

Whether you’re looking for your next favourite maker, foodie experience, or cool new backdrop for the ‘gram, there’s something for everyone at this immersive event. Here are four creative ways to uncover the art in life at Artbox.

Unleash your inner artist

Art takes centre stage here, with a new Artbox x Phunk collaboration. The contemporary art and design collective brings its visionary creativity to Artbox Everyday by transforming the space into a dynamic playground of design, fashion, and visual storytelling with its eye-catching installations. But don’t just admire the art – get your creative juices flowing at the hands-on workshops. Whether you’re painting, crafting, or exploring new mediums, these sessions are designed to awaken your inner artist. There will also be a Mini Box enrichment centre powered by The Creative Nook for the little ones, with engaging workshops that inspire creativity from a young age.

Shop unique designs

Whether you’re planning for a wardrobe update, seeking a new addition to your collection of sorts, or just a serial window shopper, there’s no denying that Artbox makes for a great hunting ground for unique finds. With over 190 retail vendors from across Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and South Korea, you’ll find everything from trendy fashion to quirky collectibles. Each stall is a mini showcase of creativity, where even the layout and design reflect the vendors’ imagination and craftsmanship.

Taste fusion street eats

Culinary artistry goes beyond Michelin-starred restaurants. At Artbox, you can expect a variety of bites that are as Instagram-worthy as they are delicious – think colourful fusion dishes, pastel-hued drinks, and sweet treats that are almost too pretty to eat. With over 90 F&B vendors serving up various flavours, the festival allows you to journey around the world through your tastebuds.

Immerse yourself in entertainment

Take a breather from all that exploring and settle yourself at one of the best seats in the house – right in front of the main stage. Local bands such as The Passerby, The Mad Trio, and Too Much Drama are set to rock the mic with original songs and creative covers. There are also open mic sessions where you can show off your vocal chops.

If you're feeling competitive, partake in the fun trivia games to score yourself some exciting prizes. For gamers, the Gamestop Arena offers a cosy space to connect and compete over Nintendo Switch and VR games.

Tickets are $6 for weekdays and $7 for weekends. Can’t get enough? Get the Everyday Pass at $100 for an all-day access across all six days. Book your tickets now.
