Time Out says

Ever wanted to watch J.B. Priestley's An Inspector Calls on stage? Now you can. Local theatre company Wild Rice is reimagining the classic play – also considered to be one of the greatest plays in the 20th century – with Glen Goei taking over the reins as director. For the uninitiated, the play follows the title character who arrives at the home of a middle-class family at dinnertime, interrogating each family member about the death of a young, working-class woman. Despite being first performed in 1945, the social thriller is still as relevant today, and even more so. It encourages the audience to take a good, hard look at the inequality brought about by power, privilege, and poverty. In this economy, the gap is quite striking.
