Time Out says

The classic British play is about high society in ’20s London, replete with all its vices and scandals. First staged in 1924, The Vortex follows the ageing Florence Lancaster and her multiple relationships with younger men. Also in the picture: her son Nicky, his drug problems, and his struggle to accept his mum. This revival stars James Cartwright and the Golden Globe-winning Jane Seymour.
