Forget Rent (the musical), here's a relatable pop-rock musical for all you Millennials and Gen Z lot in Singapore. The brainchild of the Second Breakfast Company in collaboration with Wisma Geylang Serai, Paiseh Pieces is a spankin' new musical about the trinity of life in contemporary Singapore: family, friendship and French fries (well, sort of). Follow besties Tobias, Rina and Sara as they navigate the pains of growing up in the Lion City like applying for BTO, securing a job or finding one's true calling. But it’s not just a complain fest – the trio will also have to figure out what the heck (pardon our French) it takes to get their life together. The musical also features eight original pop-rock songs produced by Bennett Bay with tongue-in-cheek lyrics by Stephanie Phang.
