With its performances and classes forced to be on hold until Singapore reaches Phase 3, The Improv Company has brought its taster sessions online – including a limited number of improv shows via online channels. Called 'Improv for Everyone', the Online Taster Sessions will take place on every third Saturday of the month and be held via Zoom.
The 1.5-hour mini-workshop is a casual and fun introduction to improvisational theatre, suitable for any level of acting experience. Through the workshop, you'll explore the core principles behind improv, and how they can be applied in daily life.

Join Method Acting Asia's interactive online workshop and learn what it means to create an active and engaging monologue. As part of the workshop, you'll get personalised coaching to hone your ideas and express your thoughts on paper. Expect both peer-to-peer feedback, along with private coaching.

Centre Stage aims to keep us all connected whilst we're separated with a series of online classes, either through on-demand recordings or live classes via Zoom. Everyone, regardless of age, can join in the virtual classes. Cycle three will run from June 1 to 29, and you can purchase one of the three packages available to sign up online. Bronze allows you access to one course of your choice, silver gains you access to one department of your choice, while gold is an all-access pass to all classes.

HCAC believes that individuals who are able to understand themselves are happier, more fulfilled, and capable of making the world a better place. Hence, with a focus on Method Acting, a technique in theatre mostly associated with theatre practitioner Lee Strasberg (1901-1982), HCAC aims to help unleash the raw talent that resides in its students, while allowing them to discover their own authenticity through expression and reflection – as well as goofs and giggles.

Tap into your primal instincts at Pink Gajah. Founded in 2013 as Sharda Harrison's passion project, Pink Gajah is all about the unconventional. The theatre's acting workshop, called Being, is designed for you to resonate with the 'being' of your state, tapping on an unconventional acting training style formulated by Harrison herself.
The year-long syllabus is conducted in four exciting and dynamic terms – and sees two-hour classes held weekly. Although it comes at a high cost ($1,660 in total), it's a great investment as you'd be learning from one of the most esteemed practitioners in the theatre industry.
If you're all for prestige, sign up at one of the earliest drama schools in the city when it was first founded in 1999. While it has since developed into a performing arts centre, Centre Stage still offers classes in drama, dance, music and art and craft.
