Rukmini Devi’s Kannapar Kuravanji: ‘A Dramatic Tale of Devotion’

Created by famed Indian dancer Rukmini Devi and telling the story of a prince called Thinnapar who is unwaveringly devoted to Lord Shiva, this kuravanji – a traditional form of dance drama – explores his journey to salvation. Part of the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society’s Festival of Indian Classical Music & Dance 2015.
