Rent Musical

If you’ve watched Tick, Tick… Boom!, you might be familiar with acclaimed composer and playwright Jonathan Larson, played by Andrew Garfield in the film. One of Larson’s works will soon be making its way to Singapore’s stages – from June 30 to July 2, his Tony Award-winning musical Rent will be performed by musical theatre ensemble The Sing’theatre Academy Showstoppers at the SOTA Studio Theatre. Rent tells the inspiring story of friends and artists struggling to make a living in New York City amid the height of the AIDS crisis, and features familiar songs like Seasons of Love.
