Singapore Repertory Theatre presents two productions: Hanuman – The Superhero Monkey and Shakespeare in the Park – Romeo and Juliet. Opening on April 1, Hanuman is adapted from the Ramayana. It combines elements of cartoon, film, musical and physical theatre to tell the tale of a brave primate that battles evil with his friends.
Happening in late April, Shakespeare in the Park will put up its ninth production. In conjunction with the 400th anniversary of the playwright's death, SRT has decided to showcase one of his most notable works, Romeo and Juliet, set in a modern dystopia.
