Fitness studios and gyms have been given the green light to reopen from June 21. And if you’re dreading the same old slog on the treadmill, it’s time to reshape your fitness routine with a class or two at a boutique fitness studio. Unlike the average gym, the small but sleek boutique fitness studio usually comes with luxury changing rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, experienced fitness instructors, and specialised workouts – think yoga, pilates, HIIT, and spin. Plus, there’s hardly any gym bros that will cramp your style.

Some of these boutique fitness studios are housed in heritage shophouses which provide a refreshing environment to get your sweat on. There’s also something intimate about exercising in a spacious shophouse space.

To help you shake up your routine fitness, we’ve rounded up the best boutique fitness studios located in a shophouse, which will be opened to limited capacity. Be sure to book a class in advance to not miss a post-Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) workout.
