This quiet, leafy hideaway with handsome horses and swaggering riders on parade has dropped some cash recently to upgrade the facilities. We do like the cosmetic changes although menu prices have been upped a bit and some of our favourites have gone from the menu (hands-up who misses the vegetable curry with prata?). Still the menu offers a good variety, reasonably well executed – the fish and chips are always a fresh treat and the nasi lemak is tasty. Avoid the chicken rice and laksa which are both bland disappointments.
