After a month-long $1.65-million-dollar revamp, Fitness First Platinum Capital Tower has refreshed its image and is now known as Capital Tower Sports Performance. This high-performance training facility is fitted with state-of-the-art machines such as the SYNRGY360, a versatile exercise frame that accommodates up to 12 people at the same time, stationary wattbikes and flexible composite tsunami bars in its ‘lift’ zone. There's an outdoor climbing wall, heated swimming pool and various resistance equipment to ensure an even sweatier session.
On top of the usual open gym floor and group classes, Capital Tower Sports Performance introduces six specialised classes designed to help its majority white-collared crowd train like athletes. This is done by mastering foundational movement skills such as push, pull, squat and lunge in Primal, strength and conditioning in Athletica, and self-myofascial release in Sports Performance Mobile. These classes range from 30 minutes to an hour so it’s possible to squeeze in a lunch-time workout – we’d recommend the 30-minute Athletica for those who like constant movement as lots of footwork and quick bursts are involved.
It's also easy to keep track of your fitness goals: just head to The Lab to measure and assess your body composition($15 per assessment), using one of the four fitness evaluation equipments. So all the information you need – whether you’re looking to lose weight, improve mobility or just stay fit – is right at your fingertips.
