Uniqlo at ION Orchard

Fans of Japanese fashion line Uniqlo must be quivering with anticipation at the prospect of its 10,000 sq ft duplex opening at ION Orchard later this month. Just to add extra spice to the occasion, selected autumn/winter ’09 items will be unveiled. Make sure to book a winter holiday so you can stock up on all of the cold-weather gear. There’s the Neo Leather range, a collection of luxury synthetic leather jackets; the Flannel range of clothing, available here before it hits Japan; and a free collectable tote bag for purchases of $100 and up. The hip quotient is given an extra boost with a dedicated corner featuring the brand’s cult T-shirt label, UT, which taps into the talents of renowned artists Gareth Pugh, Terry Richardson and Nobuyoshi Araki for its designs.
