Since its establishment in 1986, the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations is a key player in promoting Chinese traditions and the Chinese language through numerous social and cultural activities within the Chinese community in Singapore, including the annual Singapore River HongBao during the Lunar New Year.
