Talk about a resurrection. The folks at Resurrack, a new thrift and vintage store at Peace Centre, have given an antique watch dealer shop new life. While keeping the original signs and facade of the place, they’ve kitted it out with vintage threads, film cameras, retro toys, and old vinyls.
The small space doesn’t encourage hours of clothes sifting, but you will want to. The racks are filled with quality band T-shirts, fairy tops, cargo pants, and denim bottoms - Resurrack occasionally refreshes the collection of Harley Davidson shirts too. Prices start at $10.
If you’re just starting out with analogue photography, you can also visit Resurrack to test out its collection of film cameras from @filmthrills. Point-and-shoots are typically priced below $100, while premium models can go up to $200 or more. Don’t be surprised to find fellow analogue lovers crate-digging in the vinyl section too.
Resurrack also has a curated secondhand and vintage toy section (by @takaravintage__) to explore. There’s already lots to see on regular days, but keep up with these folks on Instagram for pop-up markets and events, where an even wider selection of goods from other indie shops and brands will be available.
