Carhartt Work in Progress

If you’ve seen the brand in Singapore previously, note the distinction – WIP is the modernised European wing to the original Carhartt workwear brand from Detroit, which has since grown to create full seasonal collections and mint notable collaborations with other streetwear must-knows like A.P.C., Mastermind Japan and most recently, AIAIAI. Look out for the quality Nihon Japanese blue denim jeans available in two washes, priced at a super reasonable $189 each, and the Carhartt x AIAIAI headphones ($369) – a special edition of the latter’s TMA-1 headphones that has Carhartt’s seashell-like logo embossed on matte grey cans and inside the headband. About 80 percent of WIP’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection is featured here, with a more extensive range of clothes suited for Singaporean weather promised for the Spring/Summer 2013 drop in February.
